BINA DEEWARON KE GHAR “ A realistic play by Mannu Bhandari unfolding the story of a house
Whose walls are there but , almost non-existing. They cannot handle a woman ( Shobha ) to have her own“identity”. And the “ man “ , whose culture and tradition has appointed as the protector and creator of the house is completely helpless before these melting walls and is absolutely incapable to understand, what kind of relationship he should build with a woman who is blooming out of a defined set of roles of an ideal wife. What to do and how to behave with “ her “.The entire Confusion, Dilemma, and insecurity break into baseless suspicion. The adventure of sadism destroys the walls of house to an extent where there's no way back.
The drama is from the transition period of women and their freedom is specifically addressed to the men and demands from them a constant caution to understand and absorb the changing scenario of society and to not become a victim of disastrous confusion and baseless suspicions as it happened with 'Ajit'
The play throws certain questions to the audience and examines the emerging knots with the change in circumstances in the crucial relationship of a husband and wife in the society of India.
