You don't have to be a great reader. You don't have to be a great writer. You only have to bring a letter, you sent or received. Or a letter you wrote but did not post. Or a letter you wish to send but want to read aloud, before sending it.

For the past few months we researched provocative, unknown, famous, strange letters. Now we invite you to bring letters that you wish to share from your own lives.

We will read a mix of the letters we curated- about the emergency, about communism, from father to son, from the war, on espionage, shipping, science with ones you bring.

You are the actors AND audience members. You read and you listen.

The idea is to share and experience the diverse worlds of these letters, together. To see what happens when letters from personal collections are read with ones from the public domain.

Entry strictly by registration.

Also since this is our first round of Reading Rooms, we are only reading English letters. Our next ones we may include letters in local languages.

A performance project for readers and listeners.

Listen. Read. Leave.

Entry strictly by prior registration only.
