Block printing is an ancient art of printing patterns on textiles usually of linen, cotton or silk, by using wooden blocks or metal blocks, which are carved to create beautiful designs.
India is one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of block printed fabric in the world. It is the earliest, simplest and slowest of all methods of textile printing but used widely all over the world and appreciated and liked by all.
