Parents and Children play creative games that lead to their own unique story
Sonali gave up a career as an advertising copywriter, leaving Ogilvy and Mather to follow her passion – bringing children and books together. She joined a leading school in Bangalore as librarian. There, she worked with children from Classes I to X and learnt what it takes to enthuse them to read. Today, she conducts workshops for students in various literary topics, like reading enrichment, drama, public speaking and creative writing. Sonali also conducts workshops for parents and teachers on how to encourage the reading habit and creativity in students. She set up the library at Vidya Shilp Academy in 1997.
Timings: Two batches: 11 am to 11:30 am; 2:30 - 3 pm
