Lets celebrate Pre-Monsoon showers and a smell of wet mud with an interactive workshop which allows us to feel earth in our hands. Well, I am talking about an age-old art of the artisans of Kutch region, Gujrat --- The Lippan Kaam (art work), also known as Chittar Kaam.

Traditionally, in this art, cow dung, mud is being used along with different shapes and sizes of mirrors to create beautiful nature inspired motifs, deities, animals etc to adorns the walls of the houses.  

Come and join in DIY (Do it Yourself) workshop to create a beautiful masterpiece for your home with a contemporary twist Using Shilpkar Clay with lots of fun, learning and bonding with each other. 

Benefits: Therapeutic, reduces stress and lowers anxiety, uplifts your mood, stimulates the creative thought flow.

What can you expect in this workshop:

  • Make your own wet clay.
  • Different texturing techniques with wet clay
  • Learn Clay Modelling techniques with Shilpkar clay
  • Intricate designing and mirror placing
  • Step-by-step demonstration and guidance by the trainer

Art Style: Lippan Art Workshop in Contemporary Style (Shilpkar Clay & Mirror Work). All materials will be provided.

Who all can join?

Anyone above the age of 14 years can try his or her hand on this art form. (No prior experience with art is mandatory.) All you need is to bring oodles of enthusiasm, a cloth rag and a bag to carry home your Masterpiece we created.

Fees of the workshop: Rs.2200/- (including all supplies and refreshments)
