Destination -
Kanatal, an offbeat retreat in Uttarakhand that is less than 40km away from Mussoorie. It is on the Chamba-Mussoorie road and nearly 300 km from Delhi. It’s famous for its clear night skies, Astrophotography, Trekking, Hill Station (snowfall), Apple Orchards, Himalayan Views and unique blend of wilderness with peace.

Stargazing with SciComm experts adds yet another perspective to the trip. With no moonlights and clouds pollution, you can easily see:
-Star shooting with naked eyes.
-Live Milky way moving in the sky with cosmic sound.
-Comet and Moving stars live tracking

16th October 2018
Bus will leave you at chamba at 10am than you take local busses with Scicomm team to reach campsite at 11am

12pm : Relax and surrounding beauty exploration.
12- 13pm: Introduction and surrounding market visit.
13-16 pm: Lunch and tent pitching and installation.
16-17:00: Relax
17-18:00: Introduction and brief of Astrosession
18:00- 19:00: Cosmic meditation and Brief Introduction on sky orientation and observational astronomy by renowned Science communicator through high power laser.
19-20:00: Open Skywatch of various satellites, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus(watch through telescope)
20-21:00 Dinner
21-23:00 - Watch Comets and nebulae
                 -Astrophotography basics
                 - Photoshoot with milky way & moon.
23:00- till you wake: LIVE Meteor watching while lying down and bonfire talks and sharing travel experience and ghost stories.
