An ex-Indian Navy commander, Manish’s story is certainly an interesting
one. Even in the Navy, he was known as the resident funny guy. After quitting the
service, he wanted to put his sense of humor to test, and two years ago, he decided to
try his hand at Standup comedy.
Maheep Singh is an unassuming man with plenty of stories to tell. Fortunately for us, he
believes in sharing (presumably, he watched a lot of Sesame Street as a child). Singh is
the kind of character that TV writers aim to pencil into their intelligent sitcoms; a mix of
deadpan delivery and storytelling. He sounds a lot like Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh but
somehow, his sad/mundane story is hilarious.
Devesh - another Delhi-based comic, he has been called a 'level 3' comic by some
comedians. He doesn't know what it means, but thinks it's a good thing.
