Writing essays is often a part of school projects, from the junior to the higher classes. One of the most sought-after creative writing workshops, the Essay Writing Workshop is an intensive learning and writing experience. This workshop will help the kids to understand the basics of essay writing like formatting, sentence construction, an organization of thoughts, etc. which will aid them further in the higher classes. We offer young writers the opportunity to find their voices in a fun, informal setting through a series of individual exercises and collaborations. Designed for specific age groups, we focus on the creative process (rather than spelling or grammar), appealing to kids who love to write as well as to those who have lost their writing mojo somewhere along the line.

Good writers need certain tools – perhaps the most important of which is a supportive environment to experiment and learn. The four-day workshop typically consists of 2-weekend sessions of 90 minutes each, depending on the size of the group. Groups are kept small (5-10 kids) and our time together is salon style – understanding the structure, sharing and brainstorming, evaluating our own work, and stretching our minds. Mostly, we will build a community where the writers’ creativity can flourish and yet he can accomplish the needful written expression.
