Art For Concern is back with its annual art exhibition featuring works by modern and contemporary artists to raise funds for social causes that support the upliftment of children, women, and communities across India. Starting February 11 (6:30 pm to 8:30 pm) till February 12 (11:00 am to 7:00 pm) at Alliance Francaise, Lodhi Estate, this is the go-to event for all art lovers to appreciate and purchase from over 60 artworks by established modern and contemporary Indian artists. The exhibition will feature pieces by over 40 artists in a variety of mediums and artistic genres truly something to please every beholder!

Why Should I Go For It?

Art For Concern has garnered praises over the past 20 years as a preferred destination for art lovers.  The works on offer include watercolors by Sanjay Bhattacharya, Chameli Ramachandran, Sudip Roy, Bikash Poddar and Sujith SN and sculptures by P. Elanchezhiyan and Gunasekar Jeyapal. The Eclectic Collection will showcase a wide-ranging body of artworks by renowned artists such as late Ram Kumar, late KG Subramanyan, Rabin Mondal, Suhas Roy, late Sunil Das, Lalu Prasad Shaw, Jogen Choudhary, Chameli Ramachandran, Sanjay Bhattacharya, Sudip Roy, and Shyamal Mukherjee amongst many others. Despite such prominent names, most of the works are priced modestly between INR 25,000 to INR 1,00,000, with a few works priced higher.

What’s more, proceeds from Art For Concern shows are donated towards social development activities in the areas of education, health, and community development.
