Meet the Artist:
Square one is Delhi base live band, with Soham Mallick on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, and Soaham Mandal on percussions and backing vocals, the duo promises simple yet the most versatile of musical performances that the city has experienced. On a mission to explore the evergreen melodies in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Bangla, Square One offers in each of their breathtaking performances something wholesome and lingering to take home. They have been performing at prestigious cultural and commercial venues like the Jawaharlal Nehru University, Aqua - The Park, Boombox Café, Unplugged Courtyard, Out of The Box Café (Hauz Khas and Khan Market), Switch Pub, Localë, The Magnolia Club and Benihana etc. Playing tunes that you have grown up listening to spanning across the genres of Rock n’ Roll, Blues, Funk, Pop, Bollywood, and Sufi music, the duo is bound to (pleasantly!) surprise you with their variety, vivacity, and temperament.
