The Department of Journalism, Delhi College of Arts and Commerce is hosting a debate in memory of Sumegha Gulati, an alumna of the Department of Journalism, Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (Class of 2010). During her time in DCAC, she did a dissertation on Kashmir for which she spent a month in the valley and interned with Greater Kashmir. At that time, she was the only woman working in their office.

Sumegha Gulati Memorial Debate 2019 will be an invitational debate. One Journalist, one Former Debater and one Undergraduate Student each will constitute the two debating teams. We hope that this debate initiates a conversation around the beauty and power of an unrestricted dialogue aiming at engagement, more than anything else.
