A Performative walk on the life of Princess Zeb-un-Nissa

Darwesh invites you to hear the lesser known story of Princess Zeb-un-Nissa at the Salimgarh Fort where the princess was imprisoned for more than 20 years. Despite leading a wistful life the princess had a mystical take on everything, which was reflected in her poetry. Through the performative storytelling walk, we will dig deeper into the life of this enigmatic woman.  The walk will also cover stories about the Red Fort with special focus on the Mughal rulers Shah Jahan, Aurangzeb, and the Padshah Begum Jahanrara.

Time: 8 am to 11 am 

Meeting point: Red Fort Ticket counter

CONTRIBUTION:

Charges for Single: 600.00 INR / person

(Please Note: the contribution does not include the Red Fort entry fee, which you have to buy separately )

ESSENTIALS TO WEAR AND CARRY:
- Wear a comfortable pair of shoes or slippers.
- Carry umbrella or cap to protect yourself from the sun.
- Carry a bottle of water.

HOW TO REACH THE MEETING POINT:
- If you are coming via the metro then please get down at Chandni Chowk Metro Station  (which is on the yellow line that terminates at Jahangirpuri or Vishwavidyalaya) and take a rickshaw to the Red Fort or come by Violet line directly to Red Fort.   
- If you are coming via road then park your vehicle at the Red Fort parking and then walk down to the Red Fort Ticket Counter.
