Life in an urban city is very comforting - we have the convenience of facilities that aide our daily routines. But even when we often feel it, we tend to overlook the duality of this life - a life that has us do plenty but that which gets hardly anything done. In this Improv show, we will look at the various facets of an urban dwellers life from relationships, work and the stories that line in between.

We are also very excited to have two amazing improvisers join us in this performance - Rebecca and Rich Sohn. Both of them come from Second City in the US.

About Rebecca Sohn

Rebecca Sohn has been an Improviser for 31 years. She spent 25 of those years in Chicago where she is an alum of Second City, Annoyance and iO. Some favorite groups she’s performed with include Screw Puppies, The Armando Diaz Theatrical Experience and Hootenanny, GrabAss, TNT, Almost ATLANTa, Virgin Daiquiri, and Switchboard. She has improvised and taught at festivals in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Portland, Boston, Denver, Kansas City, Austin, Toronto, London, Paris and more. After 24 years of teaching improv for Annoyance, SC, iO and independently, she has become a highly sought after veteran with a reputation for creating a safe environment that nurtures risk. Her ability to be gentle and direct enables performers to take bigger risks and make bigger discoveries.

She and her husband, Rich Sohn improvise and collaborate in many ways. They’ve been improvising together for 27 years. They wrote and toured “Idiot Tango”, their duo sketch show, he has directed all 3 of her solo shows including “My Solo Show of All Duets” which recently played to packed houses in LA.

She directs sketch for stage and screen, notably one of the most popular SC Networks series to date, ‘Chai Chat’
