Have you ever been the person accidentally laughing at a funeral? Exit Laughing is the play to remind you that you're not alone.

Exit Laughing is a collection of sketches designed as a part of BLT's 'Courtyard Theatre' program exploring the funny, macabre, satirical sides of death. 

The sketches, borrowed from playwrights such as Gene Ruffini, Rabindranath Tagore, James Richardson, and BLT's very own Vijay Padaki will be played out by actors Kavya Srinivasan and Abhijit Raghunathan in an intimate performance combining elements of storytelling, improvisation, and theater. 

Bangalore Little Theatre, one of the citys first English Language Theatre groups is celebrating Vijay Padakis 80th birthday with a three-month-long stage extravaganza. Vijay Padaki (VP) known in the theatre community as a trainer, mentor, actor, writer, director, and designer has written over 50 original plays in English, performed worldwide to packed audiences.

His work spanning multiple genres, styles, periods and forms have also been known to underscore many socio-political issues and for being relevant to the zeitgeist of the prevailing times.
