During this masterclass, poet and scholar Sudhir Ranjan Singh will help participants appreciate how Hindi poetry is changing in contemporary times, and make them mindful of the challenges that lay ahead. Besides some guided activities in which participants will engage, they will also open up to their personal struggles in writing poetry, and the facilitator will address them.

About Sudhir Ranjan Singh:
Sudhir Ranjan Singh is a Hindi poet and critic. His works include three books of poetry –Aur Kuch Nahi Toh, Mokshdhara, and Shayad, a book of recreation - Bhartrihari: Kavita Ka Paras Patthar, and three books of literary criticism - Hindi Samuday Aur Rashtrawaad, Kavita Ke Prasthaan, and Kavita Ki Samajh. He has also published a travelogue- Bharia: Patalkot Ka Jeevan-chhand. As an Editor, he has Adhyantan Hindi Aalochana and a Hindi translation of R.P. Noronha’s book A Tale Told by an Idiot by the title Ek Anari Ki Kahi Kahani to his credit. He is a Professor at Bhopal Govt PG College.
