5:00 PM -6:00 PM ****SHUBHARAMBH****: Ganesh Vandana: Seek Blessings

6:00 PM****SHAKTI: DURGA AVAHAN: INVOCATION****

7:00 PM****MANGAL AARTI with GARBA****: Hold the Diya in your hands and infuse the Sattva element by dancing in a circle in the very beautiful Durga Mandap.

Join into the rhythm of Garba around the Traditional Garbha: The women dance around an earthenware pot ghata which has little holes all over its body, with a small oil lamp placed in it which sends soft rays of the flame through the little holes. This light represents the Supreme Female Energy (Shakti) and is a symbol of fertility.

8:00 PM TO 9:00 PM

****GHOOMAR****

Ghoomar is a traditional folk dance of Rajasthan. It was Bhil tribe who performed it to worship Goddess Sarasvati which was later embraced by other Rajasthani communities. The dance is chiefly performed by veiled women who wear flowing dresses called Ghaghara.

****BHAVAI **** Dedicated to Ma Ambaa: Bhavai is a genre of folk dance popular in Rajasthan state in western India. The male or female performers balance a number of earthen pots or brass pitchers as they dance nimbly, pirouetting and then swaying with the soles of their feet perched on the top of a glass, on the edge of the sword or on the rim of a brass thali (plate) during the performance.

9:00 PM TO 10:00 PM: Classic Hindi Film numbers dedicated to keeping the spirit of Divine Shakti alive in all human beings.
