On one such project, she came across the potter’s community of Kutch who was on verge of leaving the craft and since then she has been working for reviving Kutch pottery and Kutch Painting since 2015. She has worked with a renowned organization like SEWA- Self Employed Women Association, Ahmedabad, Shrujan- Bhuj, Craftroots, Ahmedabad and with renowned craft revivalist- Laila Tyabji, founder of Dastkar, Delhi.
Antarang- colouring lives with crafts! Is a brainchild of Bhagyashree. The organization is working to revive traditional Kutch pottery and painting. Its emphasis is to develop the utility product range and create awareness of its benefits to use terracotta products. Antarang specializes in corporate gifting with a cause to empower the potter’s families who have and who are on the verge of shifting their jobs because of less demand for their craft.
Bhagyashree has been constantly working to create awareness for the craft among the young minds about crafts, its culture and its technique, with a modern touch through workshops for all age groups.
