There’s an extensive community of people devoted to watching and photographing birds.

Why?

Because they are spectacular creatures with varied sizes, coloring, and behaviors across countless species.

One thing birds share in common: they’re not so easy to photograph – they don’t pose where you want them to and it’s often tricky to get close enough to photograph them.

International birding photographer, Swami Amano Samarpan, will be teaching you how to capture spectacular bird photos and also discuss his approach to photography.

He is the author and photographer of the award-winning book, Birds of India (Wisdom Tree), which is about to be reprinted for the 5th time.

The workshop will start with a meet and greet before talks on equipment, fieldcraft and the art of processing.

Attendees are welcome to bring their own cameras.

One cannot learn photography in a day but can get some guidance that will point one in the right direction.
