About Mohit Dwivedi

In a society we are living in, you’ll easily get to hear many debatable conversations on certain social issues, right from the morning till the sun sets but there will be hardly anything constructive that you can take back home.

Mohit Dwivedi is one such name who addresses his audience about the real problems and issues of the society and subsequent people who are getting affected referring to Transgenders, people who stammer, LGBTQ Equalities, Prostitution, Rape Victims and Dwarfism through his poems and stories. Many people believe that his hard-hitting write-ups are an eye-opener for society. From the past 3 years, his poems and stories have always aimed to bring a change in the mindset of the people.

One of his most famous poetry called “Teesra hoon” was used in a dance-based reality show which airs on national television(Star Plus) to which he was later credited in the finale as well. He has performed in more than 25+ shows which includes Sahitya Aaj Tak, Jashn-E-Adab, Kaavya By Amar Ujala, National Conference by TISA and several college fests as a guest performer. He has also judged some of the literature competitions.

Mohit is also the founder of ‘The Modern Poets’, a community or an organization that focuses on stimulating a poet's write-ups. In today's poetic world we have numerous talented writers or poets that are highlighted through the events organized by TMP.
