Beautiful girl Cookie is mostly Labrador with a little bit of Indie mixed in - her mother is half Lab and half Indie while her faher is a pure Golden Retriever. When she was 4 months old, Cookie was enthusiastically adopted by an army family who seemed to love her and looked after her well. But now, after 9 months when Cookie is 13 months old, they've sent her back saying they are being transferred and cannot take her along. This doesn't sound at all plausible because it's the easiest thing in the world for army officers on transfer to take their pets along.

Anyhow, the important thing is that Cookie urgently needs a new family to call her own. She's a very well-behaved girl, friendly, loving, good with children and seems to like to play with other dogs. She is healthy, vaccinated, housebroken and will be sterilised (operated) before adoption, which means that those finicky people who don't adopt female dogs for fear of the 'mess', need not worry - after sterilisation there is no 'mess' ever!
