Kudremukha Cycling Tour

Inviting cycling enthusiasts for a weekend getaway in . This region offers excellent off-road cycling trails and cycling-friendly country roads that cut through several Viewpoints, Waterfalls and Coffee/Tea estates. Lots of fun and adventure awaits you.

Tour Brief:
  • Day 0 (Friday Night @ 9:30 PM) - Departure from Bangalore to Kudremukha. Overnight Journey. 

  • Day 1 (Saturday) - Reach Kalasa - Freshen up - Start Cycling to Maidadi Viewpoint - Kalasa Coffee/Tea Estates Ride - Reach Camping site - Campfire. 

  • Day 2 (Sunday) - After breakfast ride in Kudremukha forest road and reach Bhagavathi Nature camp - Return to Bangalore. 

  • Total Cycling Distance - 60 Kilometers over 2 days (Cycling distance is less as we are riding in the Ghats and Offroading). 

  • Cycling Difficulty Level - Moderate to Hard. 

  • Stay - Camping Tents @ Mulodi Forest, Kudremukha Range (Stay is very basic in Camping Tents. Will provide Tents, Sleeping Mats, and Sleeping Bags).

Itinerary:

Day September 09 Saturday

  • 06:30 AM - Reach Kalasa town and Freshen up
  • 08:00 AM - Breakfast, Introduction, Instruction and Safety tips
  • 09:00 AM - Start Cycling from Kalasa to Maidadi View Point
  • 01:30 PM - Lunch
  • 04:00 PM - Reach Kalasa Tea Estates
  • 05:30 PM - Reach Mulodi Forest Camping site (Ride 5 kms uphill to reach camping site)
  • 08:00 PM - Dinner and Campfire
  • 09:00 PM - Relax and Bed time.

Day September 10 Sunday

  • 07:00 AM - Morning Offroading to Somavathi waterfalls
  • 09:00 AM - After breakfast - Ride downhill to reach Kudremukha foothills and continue towards kudremukha Bhagavathi nature Camp
  • 02:30 PM - Lunch
  • 03:00 PM - Return to Bangalore
  • 10:30 PM - Reach Bangalore.

Inclusions:

  • Non-A/C Transport.
  • Accommodation at Camping Tents near Mulodi forest.
