According to Nasscom’s IoT India 2016 report, the Government of India aims at ‘transforming the nation into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy’ by building 100 Smart Cities every year for the next five years. Given the committed investments of US$ 1Bn for the Smart Cities project, the IoT industry in India will witness a growth of 28.2% CAGR by 2022. To accommodate this massive urbanization, India needs to find smarter ways to manage complexities, reduce expenses and increase efficiency through collaboration with Smart Nations over a dedicated platform.
Internet of Things India (IoT India) is a 2-day conference and exhibition to address and harness new insights on emerging trends and technologies to establish strategic direction in India’s IoT space. This platform gathers leading industry experts, aspiring entrepreneurs and rising start-ups from India and Asia Pacific region.
The inaugural edition of IoT India will focus on the following areas: Smart Cities, Industrial IoT, Robotics, Wearables, Cybersecurity, Design Applications, Enablers, and IoT Data Analytics.
IoT India is part of the IoT series of events. Held annually in Singapore since 2014, IoT Asia has been a key industry platform for governments, industries, and technology leaders to foster closer partnerships and in turn create opportunities for the public and private sectors to embrace Internet of Things.
