Imagine Trekking around the beautifully landscaped location overlooking dazzling hillocks and milky waterfalls. Yes, Munnar is a beholder's delight to treat the eyes with a wide variety of all high altitude garden plants flowers and ancient structures. The trek through the beauty of grasslands will not only amaze you with its flawless views but also gives you a taste of hiking above the clouds. The place was once the favored summer resort for the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days. The Meesapuli range is famous for its tea plantations, spices, mountains and exotic species of Flora and Fauna. We will spend a night camping amidst tea plantations and the other night atop a hill surrounded by cardamom plantations. We will also trek to Chokkanmudi peak (approx 5hrs two way), which is the third highest peak in western ghats at an altitude close to 2040m, the place is still not known in the tourism circuit. However, several foreign tourists do come here.
Frequently changing weather, low-hanging clouds, chilly atmosphere and strong winds coupled with a wide range of flora and fauna are the things to enjoy in the hills.

- Day 1(September 30): Start from Bangalore Friday late night and reach Coimbatore in the morning. Freshen up, have breakfast and start to Munnar via Udumalaipet. Start the short trek through tea plantations to a waterfall. Overnight in tents.
- Day 2 (October 01): After breakfast, take a four-wheel jeep ride to the campsite and proceed to Chokkanmudi trek. This is a 6-hour trek and will definitely put you in a happy state of mind as you gaze through lush green grass lands and get a 360-degree view of the western ghats. Overnight in tents atop a hill surrounded by cardamom plantations.
- Day 3(October 02): After sunrise in the camp, have breakfast, start the trek down to the base (Easy trek - approx one hour). Drive to Munnar, do some sightseeing on the way, have lunch in Munnar and back to Bangalore via Coimbatore.
Note:
- Sleeping bags and mats will be provided in both the camps.
- Transportation will be arranged based on the no of people. Cost will be shared. (Approx 1800).
