I lost a day is a heartfelt look at the story of Shobha and Shukumar, two people who come together by chance and stay together by choice. 

Shobha is a vibrant, smart, ambitious young woman. Shukumar is an intelligent, charming and easy to life young man. They meet one fine evening and despite noticing the instant click, they decide not to act upon it. It takes them a while to realize that it is in the presence of each other that all of their missing parts come together.

This, however, is not where the story starts. The story starts years after when they both come across challenges that are their own and each other too. In times when it seems next to impossible to hold on, it is a choice they have to make to hold on or to let go, the essence of which is felt years later.
