Puppetry is an important and useful communication tool for conveying concepts, themes, and messages related to any subject. Simple puppets may be used for storytelling. Puppetry is also a helpful tool for the therapeutic purposes.

The workshop will be designed to:

• Teach the participants the art of making and manipulating puppets.
• To teach the preparation of puppets out of locally available and waste material.
• To use this art form for conveying useful and meaningful messages in the form of puppet shows for children and integrate with storytelling methods.
