Every year Doab Uncut Motion offers supports to short filmmakers. This year they have planned to do that in a more structured manner. "Pitch Your Short" is a short film funding program alongside Asia Independent Film Festival. AIFF is their first move to South India. "Pitch Your Short" is an effort to democratize short film funding process. The programme, conceptualized by the Doab Uncut Motion, is an organization based out of Kolkata working intensely with South Asian Filmmakers to redefine indie-ness of this regions independent films.

Open to projects from all over India, the programme lasts 3 days - from 15th June to 17th June 2018 and foresees grand pitching sessions and international film screenings. Projects at pre-production stage or in an early stage of production can apply for the programme. Projects which have own funds from any other funding programmes cannot take part in this pitching event. The projects which will be facilitated at the end of the programme will receive INR 50000 production fund and multiple post-production funds. The participant will get 7 minutes to pitch their film and followed by a 7 minutes question answer round with the panel. The decision of the jury panel will be final and must be obeyed by all the participant.

The selected ScriptnPitch projects will have the possibility to apply to the TorinoFilmLab FrameWork programme in 2017, provided they fulfil the conditions of eligibility.
