EXHIBITION "Aham Pashyaami- Along the banks of the Ganges" Solo photography show by Sunil Mansingh, a Haridwar based photographer
It showcases visuals delights from the holy cities of Haridwar, Kashi and Prayag depicting life along the Ganges.
For long we have been reiterating that the Ganga is unclean and dirty and have planted the idea the collective national consciousness so much so that we fail to see the beauty of the river.
The placid waters of the river are full of soul lifting moments of peace, tranquility that provide an atavistic connect to our ancestors, our culture as well as our being and becoming. The exhibition is an attempt to rewrite the narrative of negativity that we have spun around the Ganga calling it dirty and unclean. The Ganga is a beautiful river nurturing us like a mother, uncomplaining and all accepting. It is time we focussed on its beauty instead. Come celebrate the Ganga.
