A trekkers delight, a wanderer’s choice, trek to Nag tibba is among one of the finest weekend treks of India. The highest peak reaching 9,915 feet, Naga Tibba often called the Serpent’s peak is located in the Garwahal Himalayas. The trek takes you through dense forests rich in flora and fauna and presents stunning views of Bandarpoonch peak, the Gangotri group of peaks, Kedarnath peak in the north, Doon valley and the snow peaks of Changabang.

The climbing gradient while going up is moderate with a few steep patches in between making this trek suitable for all beginners and moderately adventurous families. At Nag Tibba Top you will have the whole place to yourself with just an odd Gujjar/shepherd sharing the magnificent views with you.

The panorama of the Himalayan snow peaks of Garhwal and Himachal region is sure to keep you busy with the camera. There are beautiful meadows and thick jungles along the trail offering numerous scenic camping locations. For all you beginners out there, this trek will be one of the most enriching experiences you’ll ever have.
