 An interactive session with the conservationist and author will give you a sneak-peek inside the conservation world, and what we as civilians need to be aware of. 

How can we (civilians) be involved in conservation world? Can we be involved? How to take that first step? Where to get the information from? So many questions that a lot of us have struggled with when we want to be a part of this cause. Be ready with your queries for Mr. Gubbi!

He will be discussing his book Second Nature: Saving Tiger Landscape in the Twenty-First Century which showcases the behind-the-scenes of conservation work. Stories of how, and what goes behind protecting the wildlife, the paperwork, the research, the approach, the informal and formal meetings with concerned ministers and influencers who implement policies that directly affect the wildlife and its habitat.

Recipient of the 2017 Whitley Award (popularly known as the Green Oscar), author of Second Nature: Saving Tiger landscape in the 21st Century, and the Kannada book Vanyajeevigala Jaadu Hididu, Sanjay Gubbi is a leading name in the field of wildlife conservation and research in the country.
