Powertex Fabric Hardener is a liquid acrylic paint that is an absolute must for mixed media paintings & DIY sculptures. Textiles, leather, paper, paper mache powder, clay or any absorbent materials, all work brilliantly with Powertex. This workshop will teach you techniques to create sculpture and how to create different textures and effects on your artwork using Powertex, Stone Art & 3D Flex. This is a two day workshop. 

Day 1 - July 2nd: 4:30-7:00 p.m 

You will get an introduction to all Powertex materials, you will learn about making armatures using newspaper, wire, aluminium foil etc. Next you will learn to create textures by varying the viscosity and making impressions of a mixture of Powertex and 3D Flex. 

Day 2 - July 3rd: 3:00- 4:30 p.m

There will be demonstrations of crackle technique using bister also the use of 3D balls, Stone art, 3D sand and structure paste. You will learn to use Bisters and Colorticx to create  depth and metallic effects on your artwork.

You will take home a sturdy & beautiful sculptural work of art, knowledge of a new range of art materials and techniques and lots of ideas that stimulate your creative side.
