Forum Purple Run is an initiative by FORUM to raise awareness about Alzheimers so that people can recognize it and procure the right treatment.

Alzheimer’s is a progressive and irreversible neurological disorder that impairs basic neurological functioning. It is the 5th leading cause of death in people over 55 years of age, and in India, more than 4 million people suffer from some form of dementia.

A run for awareness, sensitivity, and dignity - Forum Purple Run is the only run that brings together the entire family to run for a prime cause.

Forum Purple Run event will be held across 7 Malls in 6 Cities:

1. Forum Mall Koramangala, Bangalore
2. Forum Neighbourhood Mall, Bangalore
3. Forum Vijaya Mall, Chennai
4. Forum Fiza Mall, Mangalore
5. Forum Sujana Mall, Hyderabad
6. Forum Centre City, Mysore
7. Forum Celebrations Mall, Udaipur
   

This event will witness over 20,000 people running across all the 7 Forum Malls in 6 cities at the same time for one single cause to raise awareness for Alzheimer's.

Note: Timing Chip is available at an additional cost of INR 150/- (all inclusive) for 3 km & 5 km run categories. Timing Chip is mandatory to compete for the first 3 places in all the 4 categories. Ranks and prizes will be given to those with Timing Chip only. For children below 12 years and adults above 55 years registration is free of cost, but if they wish to compete for a prize, they must purchase the Timing Chip.
