To promote healthy living, fitness and wellness as a way of life, Jaigopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidyalaya along with Rotary International Bangalore East have organised a RUN/WALK event on Sunday, 2nd September 2018 at Jaigopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidyalaya, 21 "K" Cross, 1st Block, Kalyan Nagar to raise awareness about health, fitness and wellness and to raise funds for the education of kids of JGRV school.

The funds raised through this event will be utilized for the education of children from economically challenged backgrounds.

The Run/Walk will start and end at JGRV School at 1st Block, Kalyan Nagar.

All are welcome to participate in this event and make it a grand success.

RUN BIBS

The Run Bib along with four safety pins can be collected at the school premises on
Friday, 31st August 2018 - 9.00 AM to 7.00 PM
Saturday, 1st September 2018 - 9.00 AM to 7.00 PM

The start timing are:

6K Run – 6:30 AM
4K Run – 6:32 AM
3K Run – 6:34 AM
2K Run – 6:36 AM

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• The organizing School has the right to refuse the entry of any participant to the event.
• The organizers have the right to advise you to change the category of the event if found necessary.
• Children below 10 years of age shall not be left by themselves and will have to be accompanied and supervised by their parents/guardians at all times.

ROUTE
Route will be marked for the various categories by the organizers by chalk powder in white on the roads. Please look down for markings and directions. There will be no boards. So please do not look up for boards. There will be volunteers throughout the route to guide runners.

AID STATIONS
There will be three water stations en route. One at start/finish area, one at the BWSSB Tank on the service road and one on 8th Main along the storm water drain.

TOILETS
Toilets are within the school premises

SWACHH BHARATH (GREEN RUN)
The bibs are reusable. We request you to cooperate with us and return the bibs and safety pins once the run is over.
The run will be strictly no plastic run. So we will disallow usage of plastic bottles and throwing of thrash and bottles along the run route. You can carry a reusable bottle along.
We will be using steel tumblers for water and electral along the route and at the start/finish area. We will be using organic/bio and edible cleaning agents to wash the tumblers.
Please do not litter the run route. Please throw all trash into dustbins at the school premises or at the water stations.

MEDICAL AID
First Aid boxes will be available at each Aid Station. There will be Doctors on call and Ambulances on call.

PRIZES
This Run / Walk is organized to promote physical fitness, healthy lifestyle and living and to aid the education of economically challenged children. All the participants and all those who are a part of the organizing team are winners in our eyes. All Runners/Walkers will get medals handmade by the school children. 

REFRESHMENTS 
A healthy breakfast will be provided post run. 

CONTRIBUTIONS
We will be glad to receive contributions in cash or cheque. All monetary contributions will receive a valid receipt and can avail IT exemption under section 80G. You may contact the school authorities for more details of the same.
