Gond is a TRIBAL decorative art form, practiced by the Gondi people of Madhya Pradesh. It is also quite common in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhatisgarh and Odisha. 

The Gond people have a belief that viewing a good image begets good luck. This belief led the Gond people to decorate the walls and the floor of their houses with traditional tattoos and motifs inspired from nature. 

In this workshop, creat your own artwork in the Gond style. No prior expertise required. Open for all age groups.

All raw material supply by the organiser eg. Canvas board with hook behind, paints, brushes, reference material, pencils, erasers etc. 

Take home will be 1 Gond painting on the Canvas board.
