The Fort Harishchandragad is one of the favorate destination for trekkers during every season, but it has a special attractions especially during monsoon for its breath taking beautiful environment and The main attraction of this hill fort remains the Konkan Kada. an almost 1423M concave fall. It is a vertical overhang, A cliff which shapes like a Cobra's hood. providing a panoramic view of the surrounding hills and an enchanting sunset. it comes in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, is one of the most challenging treks in the Western Ghats. Situated in the Malshej region of the ghats. To reach this fort there are seven routes of which we will be going via Pachnai (the easiest route form all seven).

Itenerary:
 
Day 0- Catch the Last Local for Kasara from CST for the overnight journey towards Kasara. Reach Kasara by 3.30am and our Leader will be ready to Host you. Get into the local vehicles an enroute have a tea at a hotel n continue your jourey to the base village.
 
Saturday :
Reach base village at sharp morning by around 5:00am. get refreshed with a delicious Breakfast and begin your journey of ascending via Pachnai route. Reach the first spot of Harishchandreshwar Temple by 10:30 am, visit the second spot the Kokankada (the most beautiful part of the fort), Continue your journey to the last spot The Taramati Point (Depending on Atmospheric Conbitions). By evening get back to third Spot the Ganesh Caves, have Lunch nd Start your journey back towards the resting Point (The Camping Site near a Beautiful Waterfall). Reach the Location by late eveninig and put your bags of loads aside n relaxed till the delicious Dinner gets ready. Post Dinner start your fun time with a Bonefire and varity of old school games full of enjoyment till the midnight.
 
Sunday :
 
Early morning get refreshed, Start Descending Back and reach the Base. have Breakfast and start your journey back to Kasara by same local transport. Reach kasara station by Noonwith mesmerising beautiful memories for lifetime.
 
 
Things to carry : Id Proof Compulsory
1. Good Quality Trekking / Sports Shoes.
2. Water (2ltr Minimum compulsory)
3. Electoral Powder / Energy bars / Dry Snacks (dry fruits. biscuits, plum cakes etc).
4. Raincoat / Pochos.
5. Personal First Aid kit / Medics as per priscriptions if any.
6. Toiletries (Napkin, facewash, tissue paper etc.).
7. Backpack to carry all stuffs. (No Handbags or Jholas will be allowed.)
8. Extra Pair of Clothes (as a backup if you need a change).
9. Camera (Optional).
10. Torch with Extra pair of Batteries.(Mobile flash wont be entertained)
11. Bedsheets / Blankets / Sleeping Bag.
12. Odomos (for protection from mosquitoes).

Disclaimer
All the participants whether travelling by local train/bus or private vehicle must reach at the meeting point at the given time. The organizers will wait for you at the meeting point for not more than 15mins. Post which the organizers may go out of network range and will not be able to assist you to the base camp. In such situation the organizers shall not be liable for any inconvenience what so ever and the participants will be considered as "no show" for which no refund will be given. In any case the leaders decision will be final and no arguments or objection from the participants will be entertained. During the event if any participant does not follow safety instructions and indulges in acts that lead to physical harm, the organizers will not be held liable for it. If the weather conditions are unfavourable or that the time of a natural calamity on or before the trek, the event will be cancelled, and no refund will be given in this case. Stay options mentioned in the itinerary are subject to availability and natural conditions i.e. tents cant be pitched if it rains and/or rain storm is being predicted. In such cases an attempt will be made to provide shelter for the night. Food during the trekking and camping events will be basic as it will be sourced locally from villages and will be cooked by villagers. The Tickets can be cancelled 7 days prior to the event and 90% amount will be refunded. Any refund in terms of miscount in no. of bookings can be requested before 48hrs of the event. No refund will be processed of once the event gets over. All participants are deemed to be physically fit for the event. In case a participant decides to dropout during the event he/she has to bear the extra cost of arranging his/her return. This cost will be charged at-actual-basis. Participant is responsible for his own valuables as there are no luggage safety lockers in any of the base camps. Participation will be at your own risk and the organizers will not be held responsible for any accidents, loss of life or valuables.
