New plays continue to make Sunday’s fun and exciting at Leon’s World and on the 5th of August a really interesting play is going to be staged. Theatrix will present Snow White Naughty Elves in association with MTG Astitva but it’s not the typical fairy tale which you know.

Of course, the usual characters are there – pretty Snow White, the Evil Queen, the Elves who help Snow White, the Magic Mirror. But into this mix comes the mad scientist. He is one of those who is doomed to failure no matter what he tries. He attempts to create potions but every time the result is an epic fail and not what he had planned at all. In one such experiment he is trying to make a potion for time travel but ends up in the land of fairy tales instead – in the realm of Snow White and the Evil Queen. As he muddles through the land he comes across the Evil Queen and the Magic Mirror. The Mirror explains to the scientist that he can never go back to his own land unless he is set free by the characters in this realm

The Evil Queen commands that the scientist help her kill Snow White. He asks Snow White to hide and lies to the Queen that she is dead, but the Mirror tells all. The Queen then forces the scientist to help her get disguised as an old woman and tricks Snow White into a death-like sleep. The Elves are heartbroken thinking that Snow White is dead but the scientist assures them that she will awaken when they find her one true Prince. The Elves do so and Snow White is saved. The Queen is enraged but she realizes that the scientist has tricked her and she will remain in the guise of an old woman until she apologizes. As soon as she does, she returns to her beautiful form, Snow White and the Prince are married and the scientist is permitted to return to his own land. And they all live happily ever after.

Be sure to watch this thoroughly entertaining production at the Leon’s World.
