Not only is embroidery an exciting addition to any artist or crafters skill set, but it is also a time honored art form that can create and continue meaningful crafting traditions.
During this hands on workshop, the artist combines traditional stitches with a modern design approach to turn embroidery hoops to wonderful wall art. They'll introduce you to some of our favourite stitches, tools and materials and talk about inspirations.
All materials will be provided for these workshops including a 6 inch wooden embroidery hoop, cotton fabric, needle, thread snips, pencil, and other embroidery materials. No experience is necessary and all skill levels are welcome!"
