Synopsis:

Words when knitted perfectly with great thoughts take you to a journey undiscovered. “Hasratein” is a collection of 60 Hindi poems that capture what is relatable about the smallest and the grandest moments in life.

Poems like “24 Ghante” and “Bagawati katre lahu ke” leave readers with questions about various aspects of life and others like “Kashish”, “ Saugaat” , “ Kuch hua tha” touches them romantically. There are also some like “Maa”, “Bachpan ki sham” and “Bageecha” that talk about importance of balance in relationships in our life.

Poetry touches and liberates our souls and is open to myriad interpretations. Hasratein aims to do the same.

Mehr was born in Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh). After completing his Graduation in Engineering from Indraprastha Engineering College, he moved to study management from Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management and forayed into corporate world in 2009. Currently he works for an IT giant in Bangalore.
