About the chef:

Amiels love affair with cooking started when he was just 12 years old, when he enrolled in a short course and stumbled upon a lifelong passion. When he was still a teenager, at 14, he decided to leave everything familiar and pursue a career in the culinary arts. His work has taken him to far-flung corners of France, Spain, and the United States, near Boston, where he has had the opportunity to train under talented chefs specializing in French gastronomic cuisine.

More recently, he made his way to India, where he helped set up Cafe Noir, in UB City, and expanded the brand to five outlets, across the city. He then moved briefly to New Delhi and dabbled with setting up a quick service restaurant in Bangalore, but has now decided to fine-tune his ambitions, so he can focus on catering to a niche fine dine market. He enjoys working with gourmet products and continues to find inspiration in his every day, be it from his peers, his mentors, or just the world of information, in magazines and the internet.

Today, Amiels menu is a reflection of the decades of experience as a chef, touring around the world. We hope that you can journey along with him, and discover fine global and Indian cuisine, created with finesse and a lot of love. The recipes that Amiel has perfected have a rich and complicated history. Dishes are made from the best ingredients, showcase innovative techniques, and are presented thoughtfully. But, more importantly, we hope that the food speaks to you, by being simply delicious.
