Woodblock printing on textiles is the process of printing patterns on textiles, usually of linen, cotton or silk, by means of incised wooden blocks. It is the earliest, simplest and slowest of all methods of textile printing.

We look forward to welcoming you to our studio where you will be printing cloth, practising techniques and taking away with you the fruits of your labour.
The day will start at 10.30 am with a short introduction by the trainer. It will then be on with your project to select your blocks, dyes and materials. A short break for coffee or tea and then preparation for the actual printing. 
Throughout the day we will be working with you, explaining processes, helping with techniques and illustrating these with stories of unexpected successes, terrible blunders and our ongoing passion for the whole process!

We will be providing you with a cotton bag to experiment and print your own designs and you are welcome to take it home. You are welcome to bring your own T-Shirts, dupattas and our experts will help you design and print on those.
