150 kg of garbage, mostly plastic gets dumped in Powai lake every day. 

This is due to lack of awareness about waste management and recycling. 

These lakes are lifelines to us and it is important to keep them clean. With this mission, the Earth5R team is conducting a series of cleanup activities, under our "ACT Powai" program.
Through this activity, the team intends to spread awareness about waste segregation and recycling among citizens of India.

All of the plastic waste collected during these cleanups will be recycled, not sent to a landfill.

This ensures a sustainable solution to the problem.

Garbage bags and gloves will be provided on site.
