Bollywood, like all genres in storytelling, has its unique set of characters, story arcs, and moral choices that determine the end.

In the workshop, we shall explore the various facets of narrative beats that are associated with the different character choices. We shall explore the emotional context of each story arc and will work to easily discover the various moments that lead to the songs, the dances and the confrontations that make Bollywood unique. We shall learn easy methods to create the dance and song sequences which give a Bollywood story flair.

The workshop will result in a small performance by the participants for a live audience.

Note: This is a 6-hour workshop and will run from 10 am to 5 pm, with a lunch break from 1 pm to 2 pm.

About the instructor: Currently, Naveen shares his time between acting projects, expanding his sketch comedy company Mischief In Action(MIA) and running the only Improvisational education and performance institute in India at Improv Comedy Mumbai (ICM). As a member of ICM and MIA; he performs in all the comedy formats of improvisation.
