With this form of art, it is quite easy to create fabulous pictures in a very short time. This makes it ideal for indoor and outdoor work, such as when you visit places of interest, days out and when you're on holiday.

Pen and wash is a fresh and fun way of combining some watercolor technique with your drawing skills.

During this workshop, we will explore

- creating a number of different pen sketches of a diverse range of topics
- using a range of different tonal areas created by making lots of different lines and marks
- then overlaying lightly colored wash or washes over selected areas of the drawing to emphasize focal points in the drawing.

Pen & Wash can be as simple or as complex as you wish, which again, makes it very 'user-friendly' for people of all abilities, from absolute beginners to very accomplished artists.
