THE BEEHIVE brings to Gurgaon its First "Children's Animation Film Festival".
A celebration of young local talent, captivating screenings, fascinating workshops, showcasing the world of animation and more.
Open to all age groups come and enjoy this potpourri of creativity, fun and animation movie magic
The Festival Schedule:
Day1: 22nd September (Saturday pm):
- 4 pm - 4:15 pm: An Introduction to the World of Animation The Art, Its amazing Possibilities and Benefits for Children & Adults.
- 4:15 pm - 5 pm: Screening of 10-12 animation films made by children at The Beehive
- 5 pm - 5:15 pm: Short Break
- 5:15 pm - 6:30 pm: Screening of Prince & Princesses A magical compendium by Michel Ocelot, a legendary animator
- 6:30 pm - 6:45 pm: Short Break
- 6:45 pm - 7:15 pm: Screening of Wallace & Gromit Iconic 3D/Clay Animation series created by Nick Park
- 7:15 pm - 8:00 pm : Open Interaction including a walk through the 2D/3D animation process.
Day 2: 23rd September (Sunday)
10am - 1:30 pm: Workshops for 8+ Year Olds.
Fees of 400/Head per workshop of 1.5hrs duration

About the Facilitator:
(ANGLES AUDIO VISUAL STUDIO)AAVS is the baby of Nitin Donde a truly passionate artiste and an accomplished animator, photographer, film maker and raconteur! He has worked extensively and tirelessly with children and facilitated exhibition of their work globally.
Films made through his workshops have featured in the Eye of Animation Film Festival Denmark (1st Prize), Golden Snail International Animation Film Festival, Serbia (1st prize), Hiroshima International Animation Film Festival, Japan, Annecy International Animation Film Festival, France, Festival of Animation Films, India International Center and Asian Conference on Storytelling, India Habitat Center, National Science Center, Delhi.
He is the lead organizer of the:
· YAIFF Young Animators International Film Festival held in Delhi every year
· SDFF Sustainable Develo pment Film Festival to be held at India Habitat Centre later this year
The Limca Book of Records , 1994 to 1999 acknowledged one of his workshop films - The Friendly Alien as India's first film made by children. They use the film in schools and in quiz programs.
Children of all age groups can come and watch and explore the world of Animation.
The Workshops are only for Children 8yrs and above.
