Vatsala has spent a decade and a half collecting stories and metadata to understand people, communities and organisations. She has archived these stories for various platforms in different mediums.

In her Speaking Stories series, Vatsala is attempting to create a feasible way to document the uncommon stuff in the life of common people. At the event, people from diverse backgrounds will share any interesting anecdote from their lives and these stories will be recorded for podcast and archiving purpose.

Vatsala believes these stories will be known as heritage in the long term. Facts like which governments came in which year get recorded as history but the 'touch' and 'feel' of the lives of people who live those times - bearing its fruits and its bane - often get lost, or get recorded by writers of historical fictions. What if we could get that documentation done by people themselves! What if we could use the super connectivity and instant-sharing technology available in today's era to create highly local archives that are available globally and created by the people.

The podcast that will be created by using these stories will be high quality and super enjoyable and it will touch upon subjects and moments that mark a comma or highlight a line in the constant stream of time. And most importantly, it will be available to everyone and fun!

Every episode will have a master storyteller, people who have made difference in their fields, to begin and end the session with their stories. The first one has a noted short storywriter, playwright and a columnist from Bihar, Mr Hrishikesh Sulabh.
